Okay, well, to start off, I liked the game. The concept was good, the art was nice, and the music was energetic. But there were a few things that really bothered me about this game. The first was the whole "Lifespan" deal. While it's an interesting idea, the problem for me was that the cost for the soul shrines kept going up, usually bankrupting me while I was trying to save for an armor or weapon upgrade. Second, the monsters got really strong really fast so that you NEEDED the higher upgrades, which you couldn't afford because the lifespan recharge was bankrupting you and the monsters didn't drop enough cash. Third, the fact that you only have one item slot and three items that are super important kind of bothered me. This makes the game challenging, but it was frustrating when I had a Divine Edge but I had to buy an Elixir to heal myself and then a dragon appeared in the next encounter.
Fourth, the shops needed to be more regularly spaced. While I understand the randomness of it adds to the challenge, the fact that two soul shrines or two elixir shops were right next to each other made me a little annoyed.
Overall, I enjoyed it, it's a very smooth game and extremely addicting. But it does have some kinks to be worked out.

Made me feel like a rascist

While I like the concept and the gameplay was smooth, it just made me feel like a terrible person for killing the red people so the green people could survive. What makes green such a great color anyway?! Don't get me wrong, I liked the game, I just couldn't play after a while because I felt like a murderer (it's either a good thing or a bad thing that i feel such a strong connection to virtual characters)

Really good

My only problem is I have no idea where the candle is. Otherwise, I really like the art, the feel, and the music. Please make more!

Awesome, but fairly frustrating

Now, don't get me wrong, I really, really like this game. However, the fact that if you die you have to start the entire level over really prevents this from getting a perfect score from me. It's a great game, the graphics are amazing, the sounds and animation are really good, but the fact that if I die, even if I'm a second away from finishing the level, is very, very annoying. I agree that a checkpoint of some kind would save a lot of people a lot of frustration and wasted time.

I enjoyed it very much!

I loved all three, though the last room was a bit annoying since there seems to be no reason or logic behind the safe or the color lock. (For those who are wondering, its green, blue, violet, and then use the key, which is located on top of the light over the storage room exit.)

Very good game, keep up the good work.

Really good, but . . .

First off, I would like to say that I enjoyed playing this game and that I can tell you put a lot of time and effort into it. The gameplay was nostalgic and I liked the story, but I did have a few pet peeves about the game.

Occasionally, I found it very difficult to attack enemies if they were on opposite sides of me and I ended up getting raped. Also, the strain meter made no sense to me. If he's a hero, he should be able to take pretty much any shit you throw at him without getting paralyzed after a few attacks. The controls were a little difficult to manage, but better than some other games I've played. The bosses got very hard very fast, which annoyed me, because I like to have a challenge, but not so much that I have to fight him fifty times because he keeps raping me and I can't do a damn thing about it.

However, so as not to seem like a total beotch, here are the things I liked about the game: I usually play games for the story value, so I really enjoyed the dialogue and plot. The art was good and the characters seemed well thought out. In all, I enjoyed the game, and I look forward to any new stuff you put out.

Liked it, but there are a few problems

Well I have to say first off, that I like this game, that being said, I have a few issues with it:

For starters, the fact that you cannot name yourself or your dragon is a bit disappointing. Second, the enemies drop so little gold and you get so little from selling things makes it impossible to buy anything without fighting and refighting enemies over and over again. You also move very slowly, and your health is far too low to be taken seriously, while your allies' health seems to always be far above yours.

Also, paying to visit the blacksmith's shop is not a good thing. I'm not spending my hard earned gold on the chance to peek at his wares. And since he rarely has the same thing twice, I often wasted quite a bit of gold trying to get the item I wanted.

One of my biggest peeves is that while fighting a boss, it's difficulty was so insanely above the rest of the monsters in the previous levels, that I had to level up many, many times to beat it, and even then I almost died. Also, once I defeated said boss, when I looked for the reward, I either got nothing, or a very, very poor excuse for a prize.

With all of these problems, it makes the game very, very slow and tiresome work.

Lovely

It really shows how someone feels when they are suffering. Beautiful.

Stunning

The graphics were amazing, the puzzles were great, I loved all the different ways to kill yourself and your family, and it was a great game all in all.

Cool!

I really loved it! The music was creepy but cool, the puzzles were hard, but not too difficult, and the story looks to be promising! Can't wait for part 2!

Um, well, not much to say, really. I've been drawing my own characters and creating my own stuff for about six years now. I know nothing about animating, but I'd love to learn, and I'm looking forward to giving and recieving feedback on everything.
